A gentle form of exercise that combines deep breathing and slow movements to help strengthen core muscles and develop the body in a harmonious way.

Experience offered

Work on different body systems with a variety of group classes in the Reformer Studio. Achieve mind and body connection by treating yourself to a moment of Zen at Espace Hygie.

Initiation Class

This class is a prerequisite for anyone who has never taken a pilates reformer class. You will receive an introduction to the equipment, safety instructions and use of accessories, as well as do a few beginner level exercises. 

Foundations 

This class is for beginners wanting to tone muscles and become more body aware.  Acquire more knowledge on equipment, safety and security, beginner exercises, terminology and body awareness. 

Flow

Fluid transitions at a medium intensity. Work on your deep muscles in this classes tailored to key pilates principles such as muscle engagement, coordination, endurance, balance, body awareness and joint mobility. 

Arms-Abs-Glutes

Just like the title says, this class targets your arms, shoulders, abdominals and glute muscles for a complete workout. You will leave class with a bigger sense of wellness and mobility.

Circuits 

A series of dynamic exercises alternating between use of jumpboard, strength and stretching on the carriage, as well as functional exercises standing by the tower. Intermediate level

Waist-Abs-Glutes

A class that focuses on strengthening the abdominals, glutes and waist. The goal is to tone, improve posture and strengthen the core. 

Sculpt

The Sculpt class is designed to tone and refine the entire body. Ideal for shaping a silhouette while developing strength and balance.

Full Body

A class that engage the whole body! Strengthen, lengthen and tone through fluid and controlled movements.

Strength & Endurance

A dynamic exercise session that focuses on deep muscles to improve strength, stability and endurance. The goal is to enhance the over stamina of all parts of the body!

Strength & Cardio

Combine muscle strengthening and cardio. Ideal for burning calories and boosting your fitness while respecting the fluidity of pilates movement. 

Pilates fitness

Looking for a new physical challenge? Pilates fitness offers a perfect blend of intensity and mobility - strength training, cardio, abs and endurance. This class is for regulars! 

Tone and Mobility

In this class, you will work on joint mobility and strengthening the muscles that support the joints. The ankles, knees, hips, shoulders and spine will be mobilized for this workout. 

Glutes & Abs

Targeted exercises for toned abdominals and firm, powerful glutes. 

Burn & Stretch

This class provides the perfect balance between effort and recovery. Ideal for toning the body, improving posture and releasing tension.  

Postnatal Reformer

For new mothers. This class focuses on strengthening the pelvic floor, stabilizing the core and improving posture. Babies under crawling age are welcome in this class.

At Espace Hygie, your needs are the focus of our approach. Treat yourself to a private session designed to meet your goals with a program developed by your instructor.

About our program

Espace Hygie has a studio for Pilates, a workout designed to achieve total mind and body awareness, strengthen a specific series of stabilizing muscles, and combine proprioception and balance to achieve peace of mind.

The Reformer  table's adaptability and add-ons will let you choose from hundreds of exercises tailored to your personal needs. This low-impact workout involves all your muscle groups, combining controlled breathing and deep concentration to help you set the bar high.

This widely varied program is suitable for all levels. The group classes will help you prevent musculoskeletal injury, strengthen your muscle tone, and improve your posture alignment. To allow for personalized coaching and ensure proper support for all participants, there are no more than 10 members per group.
