A gentle form of exercise that combines deep breathing and slow movements to help strengthen core muscles and develop the body in a harmonious way.

Work on different body systems with a variety of group classes in the Reformer Studio. Achieve mind and body connection by treating yourself to a moment of Zen at Espace Hygie.

Pilates Foundations & Initiations

60 minutes

Foundations: This class is for beginners wanting to tone muscles and become more body aware.  Acquire more knowledge on equipment, safety and security, beginner exercises, terminology and body awareness. 

Initiations: Prerequisite for anyone who has never taken a course with a reformer.  This course introduces the equipment, safety instructions and use of accessories, including a brief overview of simple beginner-level exercises.


Pilates Flow

60 minutes

Fluid transitions at a medium intensity. Work on your deep muscles in this classes tailored to key pilates principles such as muscle engagement, coordination, endurance, balance, body awareness and joint mobility. 

Hips and Pelvis

60 minutes

Work on the centre zone of your body, essential for holding you through daily movement and sports activities.  Great for walkers, runners, skiers and hockey players.  Activate and strengthen your glutes, deep pelvic stabilisers, and abdominals all the while finessing your leg and foot alignment. 


Pilates Fitness

60 minutes

Mastered foundations and looking for more of a physical challenge? This class offers a perfect pairing of intensity and mobility. Work your muscles strength, cardio, abdominals and endurance. 

Abs-Arms-Glutes

60 minutes

Just like the title says, this class targets your arms, shoulders, abdominals and glute muscles for a complete workout. You will leave class with a bigger sense of wellness and mobility.


Circuit

60 minutes

A series of dynamic exercises alternating between use of jumpboard, strength and stretching on the carriage, as well as functional exercises standing by the tower. Intermediate level

Pilates Toning and Mobility

60 minutes

In this class, you will work on joint mobility as well as strengthening the muscles that support the joints. Ankles, knees, hips, shoulders and spine will be dynamically mobilized for a vigorous workout.


Private Session

At Espace Hygie, your needs are the focus of our approach. Treat yourself to a private session designed to meet your goals with a program developed by your instructor.

About our program

Espace Hygie has a studio for Pilates, a workout designed to achieve total mind and body awareness, strengthen a specific series of stabilizing muscles, and combine proprioception and balance to achieve peace of mind.

The Reformer  table's adaptability and add-ons will let you choose from hundreds of exercises tailored to your personal needs. This low-impact workout involves all your muscle groups, combining controlled breathing and deep concentration to help you set the bar high.

This widely varied program is suitable for all levels. The group classes will help you prevent musculoskeletal injury, strengthen your muscle tone, and improve your posture alignment. To allow for personalized coaching and ensure proper support for all participants, there are no more than 10 members per group.
